Sprucing Up Pluma Verde

New web design at edicionesplumaverde.com!

Hello All! 😀 Just wanted to quickly share some of the cool stuff that I have been working on at Ediciones Pluma Verde, a small editorial of academic or non-fiction books, though some poetry and experimental lit will continue to be published.

Well, namely I have been updating the site’s design, and giving each book a page of its own. So far, three pages have been created!

Cineterapia: Película Como Metáfora

I’m happy to announce that my introductory cinematherapy book, Cineterapia: Película Como Metáfora (2023) now has a dedicated page with relevant posts, excerpts, and even a link to purchase the book, as paperback or Kindle e-book, through Amazon.

The book is also available as an e-pub through Apple Books, Kobo, Smashwords and more for just $2.99! I don’t often advertise these books because the formatting for them might be “iffier” than the Kindle version (some pages can look wonky), but the content is the same and they are readable. So if you’re on a budget, check them out!

To celebrate the launching of Cineterapia‘s dedicated page, I’ve also made available an English translation of chapter 1! 🎉 This, along with the recently-published paper, should be a useful resource for those interested in cinematherapy.

Gauguin’s Matriarchy (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2026)

https://edicionesplumaverde.com/gauguin-matriarchy/

Gauguin’s Matriarchy is, essentially, an academic work where I reference Jungian theory to visually analyze several Tahitian paintings by Paul Gauguin. This work was inspired by the analysis of Oviri (1894, stoneware), a sculpture which today rests on his grave (well, a copy does–the original can be found at the Musée d’Orsay).

Unlike its predecessor, this book has actually been launched through Cambridge Scholars Publishing, a non-affiliated entity. To have this book accepted for publication was a proud moment for me as an author! ✍️ You can find a preview at the dedicated page or at CSP.

Collage 26 by Wind Ma

Collage 26: A Photo Book by Wind Ma, a book launched earlier this year, now also has a dedicated page at Ediciones Pluma Verde! This book reached #73 in the Conceptual Arts section of Amazon Books in August ’26–a definitive achievement for both artist and publisher (the book is now just over #100, which is still cool!).

You can find previews of the work, related posts and a link to purchase over at the dedicated page, so be sure to check that out: https://edicionesplumaverde.com/libros-collage-26-x-wind-ma/

You can also visit windma.net for specific updates about Collage 26 and Wind Ma’s artistic journey (visit windma.net/collage26 to go straight to the book on Amazon!)

That should be it for the time being. More dedicated pages should be available soon, but you can still access relevant posts and portals for them at edicionesplumaverde.com.
